Product Description

Petrothene LR686001 is selected by customers for use as insulation for foam/skin telephone singles, and is a natural, expandable, high density polyethylene compound containing a chemical blowing agent. LR686001 is highly stabilized to ensure OIT retention and thermal stability during processing, oven aging, and in pedestal testing. This product contains a processing aid and a metal deactivator to prevent degradation from copper while the cable is in service.

Petrothene LR686001 meets the requirements of the following: ASTM D 1248, Type III, Class A, Category 4, Grade E9; Federal LP390C, Type II, Class H, Category 4, Grade 1; REA PE-89.

Processing Techniques

Specific recommendations for resin type and processing conditions can only be made when the end use,

required properties and fabrication equipment are known.

Petrothene LR686001, like other thermoplastic polyolefin resins, can be extruded using a conventional extruder.

Below are suggested extrusion conditions for Petrothene LR686001. These conditions are intended as general

guidelines only, and are not optimum values, since manufacturing variables such as extruder type and size have

an effect on processing of thermoplastic resins.

高密度聚乙烯（High Density Polyethylene，简称为“HDPE”）又称低压聚乙烯，是一种结晶度高、非极性面呈一定程度的半透明状。PE具有优良的耐大多数生活和工业用化学品的特性。

【基本特性】

高密度聚乙烯是一种不透明白色腊状材料，比重比水轻，比重为0.941~0.960，柔软而且有韧性，但比LDPE略硬，也略能伸长，无味。

【燃烧特性】

易燃，离火后能继续燃烧，火焰上端呈黄色，下端呈蓝色，燃烧时会熔融，有液体滴落，无黑烟冒出，同时，发出石蜡燃烧时发出的气味。

【主要优点】

耐有机溶剂，电绝缘性优良，低温时，仍能保持一定的韧性。表面硬度，拉伸强度，刚性等机械强度都高于LDPE，接近于PP，比PP韧，但表面光洁度不如PP。

【主要缺点】

机械性能差，透气差，易变形，易老化，易发脆，脆性低于PP，易应力开裂，表面硬度低，易刮伤。难印刷，印刷时，需进行表面放电处理，不能电镀，表面无光泽。

【应用场合】

用于挤出包装薄膜，绳索，编织袋，渔网，水管；注塑低档日用品及外壳，非承载荷构件，胶箱，周转箱；挤出吹塑容器，中空制品，瓶子。

用途：电话绝缘、电线电缆应用

用途：聚乙烯可加工制成薄膜、电线电缆护套、管材、纤维等。广泛用于农业、电子电气、机械、日用杂品等方面
比重: 0.91-0.96克/立方厘米成型收缩率：1.5-3.6％成型温度：140-220
特点：耐腐蚀性，电绝缘性(尤其高频绝缘性)，可以氯化，化学交联、辐照交联改性，可用玻璃纤维增强。低压聚乙烯的熔点、刚性、硬度和强度较高，吸水性小，有良好的电性能和耐辐射性；高压聚乙烯的柔软性，伸长率，冲击强度和渗透性较好；超高分子量聚乙烯冲击强度高，耐疲劳，. 低压聚乙烯适于制作耐腐蚀零件和绝缘零件；高压聚乙烯适于制作薄膜等；超高分子量聚乙烯适于制作减震，及传动零件。

干燥：如果存储恰当则无须干燥。
熔化温度：220260C。对于分子较大的材料，建议熔化温度范围在200250C之间。
模具温度：5095C。6mm以下壁厚的塑件应使用较高的模具温度，6mm 以上壁厚的塑件使用较低的模具温度。塑件冷却温度应当均匀以减小收缩率的差异。加工周期时间，冷却腔道直径应不小于8mm，并且距模具表面的距离应在1.3d 之内（这里“d”是冷却腔道的直径）。
注射压力：7001050bar。
注射速度：建议使用高速注射。
流道和浇口:流道直径在4到7.5mm之间，流道长度应尽可能短。可以使用各种类型的浇口，浇口长度不要超过0.75mm。特别适用于使用热流道模具。
典型用途：食品容器、存储容器、家用厨具、密封盖、管材等。
