7. 优异的电荷承受能力热塑性聚酯弹性体（TPEE）与橡胶相比，具有更好的加工性能和更长的使用寿命；与工程塑料相比同样具有强度高的特点，柔韧性和动态力学性能更好。对大多数用途来说，TPEE可以直接使用，若有特殊要求，可添加相应助剂以满足要求。

8. 与ABS，PBT和PC等材料具有极好的粘结性1972年，美国DuPont公司和日本Toyobo公司率先开发出TPEE，商品名分别为Hytrel和Pelprene。随后，Hochest-Celanese、GE、Eastman、AKZO(现在的DSM)等世界大公司相继开发出了各种牌号的TPEE产品，商品名各为Ritefex、Lomod、Ecdel和Arnitc。而国产的TPEE，现在也开发出了自己的品牌TPEE，在国内也受到了相当的好评。
